Types of Submissions

Now, we know one size doesn’t fit all. That’s why we have two submission options for you. Pick the one that matches your goals best!

1. Free Guest Post

Everyone loves a freebie, right? Here’s what you get with our Free Guest Post option:

• Eligibility: You can submit one free guest post (per user/email/company).
• Word Count: Minimum 1000 words. Bring out the storyteller in you!
• Links Allowed: 1 permanent do-follow backlink. Choose wisely!
• Images: 1 image required (JPG/PNG, max 2MB). Eye-catching visuals = bonus points.
• Publishing Timeline: Live within 5 days after review.
• Cost: Drumroll, please… FREE!

2. Paid Guest Post

If you’re looking for extra perks or speedier publishing, this one’s for you.

• Pricing:
  • Rs. 300 for 1 blog
  • Rs. 500 for 2 blogs
  • Rs. 800 for the VIP treatment with a Featured Post (pinned to our homepage for 1 WHOLE month)
• Links Allowed: 2 permanent do-follow backlinks (Link love? You got it!).
• Images:
  • 1 image for regular posts
  • 2 images for featured posts (one for the blog and one swanky visual for the homepage).
• Publishing Timeline:
  • Paid Post? 48 hours after payment. Fast and fabulous!
• Important Stuff:
  • You’ll get an invoice once your content is approved.

Submission Process (Step-by-Step)

Submitting your article to The Daily News Point is as easy as pie (actually, easier because pies can be tricky). Here’s what the process looks like from start to finish:

1. Shoot us an email (submit@thedailynewspoint.com) or use our submission form. Make sure you attach your article (as a Word Doc!) and your chosen image.
2. We’ll review your submission and get back to you within 2 days. Fingers crossed!
3. Approved? Awesome! For paid posts, we’ll shoot over an invoice.
4. Make the payment (paid posts). Don’t worry, our payment process is hassle-free.
5. Boom! You’re live. Free posts go live in 5 days; paid posts take just 48 hours.

Image Guidelines

Images matter! A great featured image can actually get more eyeballs on your post. Here are our image requirements (and yes, they’re non-negotiable):

• Format: PNG or JPG
• Max Size: 2MB (aka no oversized, high-res glamour shots).
• Mandatory:
  • 1 image per blog
  • For Featured Posts, up to 2 images allowed (one for the content and another for the homepage).

Pro Tip: A striking, well-thought-out image can make your blog POP on our homepage. Choose wisely!

Link Policy

We’re happy to give the dreaded algorithm gods a nudge in your favor with some sweet do-follow backlinks—but there are a few ground rules.

• Free Posts: 1 do-follow backlink.
• Paid Posts: 2 do-follow backlinks (double the value).
• We DON’T allow:
  • Affiliate links.
  • Spammy anchor texts.
  • Links to illegal, unethical, or adult content.

Placement matters! Your links should be natural, relevant, and add value for our readers (readers are smart, don’t underestimate them).

What We Don’t Accept

Sorry, we’re not a dumping ground for spammy articles or cookie-cutter content. Here’s what to avoid:

• Plagiarized content. (Eyes on you, GPT spammers!).
• Keyword-stuffed posts (it’s 2023, we’re over that).
• Irrelevant topics (stick to business, startups, and marketing, please!).
• Adult, gambling, medical, political, or crypto content.
• Misleading claims or unethical promotions.

Formatting Tips

Want to make your submission shine? Keep these in mind while writing your masterpiece:

• Use H2s and H3s to break your content into digestible sections.
• Aim for a conversational tone (we LOVE reading relatable stories!).
• Include personal insights, actionable tips, and real-life cases.
• Articles must be original (no copy-paste jobs here).
